Discover the Richness of Arabica and Robusta Coffee Beans

As self-confessed coffee enthusiasts, we love variety and understand that the joy of coffee comes from the diversity of flavours that different coffee beans offer. When you buy coffee beans from us, you can rest assured that our collection at Coffee Masters focuses on the two most beloved types of beans: Arabica and Robusta.

We meticulously source our Arabica and Robusta coffee beans from only the best sources, ensuring you get only the freshest, highest-quality beans that respect the unique attributes of each variety. However you like to take your coffee, we are certain that we have the perfect combination of beans and taste profiles for your palate.

Arabica Coffee Beans: The Epitome of Smooth and Mild

Arabica beans are the most widely enjoyed coffee beans around the globe, accounting for about 60 to 70% of coffee production. These beans are loved for their smooth, balanced flavours that appeal to a broad range of coffee lovers.

Arabica coffee beans are grown in high-altitude areas, often on sloping terrains, which leads to their unique flavour characteristics. They thrive in a variety of climates, from the cloud forests of Colombia to the highlands of Ethiopia - the birthplace of coffee. These different growing conditions contribute to the diverse flavour profiles of Arabica beans.

With flavours ranging from sweet and fruity to chocolatey and nutty, Arabica coffee beans offer a captivating experience for your taste buds. However you take your brew, Arabica coffee beans promise a pleasurable and flavoursome experience.

Robusta Coffee Beans: Embrace the Bold and Potent

If you're a fan of strong, full-bodied coffee, then Robusta beans are your match made in heaven. Robusta, making up most of the rest of the world's coffee production, is celebrated for its bold flavour and higher caffeine content - almost double that of Arabica.

Grown primarily in the lower altitude areas of Africa, Southeast Asia and Brazil, Robusta coffee beans are robust indeed, tolerating a wider range of climates. This hardiness translates into their flavour, which is typically stronger and more bitter than Arabica.

Robusta beans deliver a deep, resonant flavour with notes of dark chocolate, nuts and a hint of earthiness. They have a low acidity level and an unmistakable full-bodied texture. If you're looking for a coffee that packs a punch or an excellent base for your espresso, Robusta beans are ideal.

Roasting: Where Coffee Beans Come to Life

Roasting is a transformative stage, turning unroasted (sometimes known as ‘green’) beans into the aromatic, flavourful coffee beans that we know and love. Our skilled roasters put years of expertise into perfecting each roast, whether it's a light roast to enhance a bean's acidity and delicate floral notes, a medium roast for an all-around balanced cup, or a dark roast for those who love a bold, robust brew. We also often have a popular line of medium dark roasts for the best of both brews. Each roast level serves a purpose, providing a range of options for every preference. You’ll see how we classify each roast in the product descriptions when browsing our coffee beans.

Choose Fairtrade and Organic Coffee Beans

Fairtrade coffee beans and organic coffee beans hold a special place in our collection. We believe that great taste doesn't have to come at the expense of ethical sourcing and sustainable farming. When you buy these beans, you're choosing a product that supports fair wages for farmers and nurtures the environment. Enjoy each sip knowing you're making a positive impact.

Decaffeinated Coffee Beans: Enjoy Coffee Minus the Caffeine

We offer high-quality decaffeinated coffee beans for those who love the taste of coffee but prefer to limit their caffeine intake, making it easy to enjoy the same taste and aroma of your favourite beans. We use the gentle water process to remove the caffeine from our beans, which not only helps to preserve the rich, complex flavours of the bean but also makes decaffeinated coffee safer to drink for pregnant women.
